Dear Friends and allies,

Wishing you and your loved ones remain healthy and safe during this difficult time! #StayHome #QuedateEnCasa

As you may already know, the undocumented community and most vulnerable are not able to file for most of the relief benefits even though they are taxpayers too. The majority of immigrants don't have vacation or sick leave time, and don't qualify to apply for unemployment.  Families are suffering from sadness, anxiety, and depression; constantly worrying about how they will come up with the money needed to buy food, pay for rent, afford coverage for medical expenses etc.

Currently we are working closely with local leaders of organizations, holding listening conversations with community family members and leaders, educating the community with up to date resources and discussing ways on how we can be providing the assistance needed during the months ahead.  Below are some key resources available to share with community and partners. Please note, schedules for free food for Placer and Sacramento food banks gets updated regularly and it is a good idea to check their website regularly.

Please share and feel free to reach out to me should you have additional questions or resources to share with the community. God bless and keep us all safe!
